Remove the spent batteries first (if applicable).

Insert two AAA batteries into the battery compartment 24 . Observe the correct polarity
(+/-).
The control LED 27 on the front of the outdoor sensor flashes briefly.
The temperature 58 and the air humidity 57 are displayed.

Close the battery compartment 24 on the back of the outdoor sensor by sliding the
battery compartment cover 25 in the opposite direction to that indicated by the arrow.
Note: The control LED 27 flashes once per minute to signal radio transmission.
● Commissioning the radio-controlled weather
station

Take off the battery compartment cover 12 of the radio-controlled weather station.

Insert two AA batteries into the battery compartment 11 . Observe the correct polarity
(+/-).
After insertion, the display lights up for approx. 5 seconds and a beep sounds once. The
indoor temperature 38 and the indoor air humidity 36 are displayed.

Close the battery compartment cover 12 of the radio-controlled weather station.
● Automatic signal detection
The radio-controlled weather station automatically detects the radio signal of the outdoor
sensor. The radio waves of the channel display 43 flash. Air humidity 33 and temperature
are shown on the display 1 once the radio signal is received. The procedure stops

after three minutes.
Now, the DCF radio signal is detected. The radio signal display 45 starts to flash. The waves
of the radio signal display 45 start to flash once a radio signal is received. Change the loca
tion of the radio-controlled weather station if the signal is not detected.
Only the SNOOZE / LIGHT button 6 and the radio signal detection button 19 trigger
functions during this time.
Note: The DCF radio signal detection can be interrupted or restarted at any time by
pressing the radio signal detection button 19 .
Once the DCF radio signal is successfully received, the time 44 is adjusted automatically
and the radio signal display 45 is lit.
