4. Installation mechanical
M5 Position indicator
Fig. 6.3 + 6.4
Fasten the position indicator using the bolts
M5x10 mm.
Make sure that be the drive units are in the dis-
connected position (Fig. 3.4 = Off).
M6 Orientation
Fig. 8.1 to 8.3 and 9.2
The two sides of the move control must now be
oriented in such a way, that the required installa-
tion dimensions according to fig. 8.1 to 8.3 are
observed. In tilted-away position, the distance
between the driving rollers and the tyres must be
approx. 15 - 20 mm. Use the wooden spacer
blocks as a measure (Fig. 9.2).
ATTENTION!
For adjusting the distance the wheel must be
under full load and the caravan must stand on a
flat ground.
M7 Fastening the stabilizer bar
Fig. 7.2
Now fasten the bolts with 30 Nm to fix the stabi-
lizer bar and secure the bolts with the locknuts.
Make sure that the centre of the stabilizer, which
you marked, is still in the centre of the caravan or
trailer.
M8 Torque the clamping plates
Fig. 4.2
Now tighten the clamp-fastenings of the right
and the left drive unit with a torque of 30 Nm.
Please make sure the distance between the drive
rollers and the tyres has not changed and it is still
between 15 - 20 mm.
Now install the protective clamps included in the
delivery in front of or behind the left and right
clamp-fastenings.
The clamps serve as an additional protection
against the slipping of the drive units along the
vehicle chassis.
M9 Fastening the clamping fixture
Fig. 4.3 + 4.4
Clamping plate and U-profile (clamping fixture)
are each fastened with a clamping shoe and a
M10x30 mm bolt using a torque of 60 Nm.
M10 Check
Fig. 7.2
Finally please check the secure fit of all clamp-
fastenings and protective clamps and if they have
all been installed completely together with their
respective counter nuts.
