Spraying
WARNING! Never set the unt on the ground durng use. Avod the machne and battery rom gettng wet
at all times. Do not spray near or directly at the unit.
1. Am the sprayer nozzle drectly at the plants or objects you wsh to spray.
2. Never point the spray end of the wand at yourself or others.
3. Be aware o splash back, stand ar enough rom the object beng sprayed to prevent the spray splashng back onto you.
4. Never spray n the drecton o people or anmals; always spray downwnd.
5. Avod sprayng on wndy days. Spray can be accdentally blown onto plants or objects that should not be sprayed.
6. Be aware of the volume application rate and check the the volume in the tank from time to time.

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the machne s swtched o and the battery cartrdge s removed beore attemptng to perorm
inspection or maintenance.
To mantan product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repars, any other mantenance or adjustment should be perormed
by Makta Authorzed or Factory Servce Centers, always usng Makta replacement parts.
MAINTENANCE

cleaning or performing any maintenance.
WARNING! Always wear eye protecton wth sde shelds or goggles marked to comply wth ANSI Z87.1.
Falure to do so could result n uds enterng your eyes resultng n possble serous njury.
WARNING! When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a
hazard or cause product damage.
WARNING! Do not at any tme let brake uds, gasolne, penetratng ols, etc., come n contact wth
plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
njury.
NOTICE: Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws,
nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tghten securely all asteners and caps and do not operate ths product untl all
mssng or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer servce or a qualed servce center or
assistance.
NOTICE: Never use gasolne, benzne, thnner, alcohol or the lke. Dscoloraton, deormaton or cracks
may result.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE: Avod usng solvents when cleanng plastc parts. Most plastcs are susceptble to
damage rom varous types o commercal solvents and may be damaged by ther use. Use clean clothes to remove
drt, dust, ol, grease, etc. Unless stpulated otherwse, we recommend that you arrange or the qualed techncan to
check the equipment every 2 years.
CLEANING THE UNIT
WARNING! Always store and dispose of chemicals properly. Disposal of contaminated rinse water
should be perormed accordng to local ordnances and by laws.
