Spraying
WARNING! Never set the unt on the ground durng use. Avod the machne and battery rom gettng wet
at all times. Do not spray near or directly at the unit.
1. Am the sprayer nozzle drectly at the plants or objects you wsh to spray.
2. Never point the spray end of the wand at yourself or others.
3. Be aware o splash back, stand ar enough rom the object beng sprayed to prevent the spray splashng back onto you.
4. Never spray n the drecton o people or anmals; always spray downwnd.
5. Avod sprayng on wndy days. Spray can be accdentally blown onto plants or objects that should not be sprayed.
6. Be aware of the volume application rate and check the the volume in the tank from time to time.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the machne s swtched o and the battery cartrdge s removed beore attemptng to perorm
inspection or maintenance.
To mantan product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repars, any other mantenance or adjustment should be perormed
by Makta Authorzed or Factory Servce Centers, always usng Makta replacement parts.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! To avod serous personal njury, always remove the battery pack rom the machne when
cleaning or performing any maintenance.
WARNING! Always wear eye protecton wth sde shelds or goggles marked to comply wth ANSI Z87.1.
Falure to do so could result n uds enterng your eyes resultng n possble serous njury.
WARNING! When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a
hazard or cause product damage.
WARNING! Do not at any tme let brake uds, gasolne, penetratng ols, etc., come n contact wth
plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken, or destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
njury.
NOTICE: Periodically inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws,
nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tghten securely all asteners and caps and do not operate ths product untl all
mssng or damaged parts are replaced. Please contact customer servce or a qualed servce center or
assistance.
NOTICE: Never use gasolne, benzne, thnner, alcohol or the lke. Dscoloraton, deormaton or cracks
may result.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE: Avod usng solvents when cleanng plastc parts. Most plastcs are susceptble to
damage rom varous types o commercal solvents and may be damaged by ther use. Use clean clothes to remove
drt, dust, ol, grease, etc. Unless stpulated otherwse, we recommend that you arrange or the qualed techncan to
check the equipment every 2 years.
CLEANING THE UNIT
WARNING! Always store and dispose of chemicals properly. Disposal of contaminated rinse water
should be perormed accordng to local ordnances and by laws.
