Indicating the residual battery capacity
Press the check button on the machne to ndcate resdual battery capacty. The ndcator lamps lght up or ew
seconds. Refer to Figure 5.

• Dependng on the condtons o use and the ambent temperature, the ndcaton may der slghtly rom the actual
capacity.
Machine / battery protection system
The machne s equpped wth the protecton system. Ths system automatcally cuts o power to the motor to
extend machne and battery le. The machne wll automatcally stop durng operaton the machne or battery s
placed under one of the following conditions.
- Overload protecton : When the machne s operated n a manner that causes t to draw an abnormally hgh current,
the machne automatcally stops wthout any ndcaton. In ths stuaton, turn the machne o and stop the applca-
ton that caused the machne to become overloaded. Then turn the machne on to restart.
- Overdscharge protecton : When the battery capacty becomes low, the machne stops automatcally. I the
machne does not operate even when the swtches are operated, remove the battery cartrdge rom the machne
and charge it.
