10.1 Wiring diagram
The electrical wiring diagram
is only for general reference.
The swimming pool heat
pump must be connected to
the ground wire, although
heat exchanger unit is elec-
trically isolated from the rest
of the unit. The unit must still
be earthed in order to protect
against short circuits inside
the unit. Bonding is also re-
quired.
A power switch should be
located within sight and be
easily accessible from the
heat pump. This is common
practice on commercial and
residential heat pumps. It al-
lows you to turn off the power
to the unit while it is in oper-
ation.

Water flow failure or pressure pro-
EL
tection.
1. Water flow switch failure.
FL
2. No or insufficient water flow.
1. The pressure is too high or
too low.
PL
2. Failure or disconnected high/
low pressure switch.
3. Gas leakage
Solution
Before restarting the heat pump
make sure that the ambient tempera-
ture is above 9°C and below 40°C.
Replace the water temperature sen-
sor.
Replace the ambient temperature
sensor.
1. Change the water flow switch.
2. Check the water pump or if the
system is clogged.
Consult with a service technician.
