4.2. Other instructions
In order to get the best heat exchange from the heat pump, the water flow must meet the recom-
mendations in the specifications.
It may be necessary to enlarge the discharge pipe to prevent freezing during cold seasons.
It is recommended that a bypass kit is installed (Art. 1017) in front of the water inlet and outlet, so
that the flow through the heat pump can be easily interrupted. At the same time it makes general
handling and maintenance easier.
Important:
When the heat pump is in operation, condensate is discharged from the bottom. It must
be possible fr the condensate to run away. Therefore, a drain valve with hose or a drain
pump (accessory) should be fitted if the heat pump is submerged.
