Daily cleaning
Stubborn stains on enamel (pan support, burner parts)
Stubborn stains on the glass plate
Tip
Activate the childproof lock before you start cleaning the hob.
•
Start by cleaning the control knob, the wok burner and the pan
support and fi nish with the glass plate. Th is prevents the glass
plate from getting dirty again during cleaning.
•
Although food spills cannot burn into the glass, we nevertheless
recommend you clean the hob immediately after use. Best for
daily cleaning is a damp cloth with a mild cleaning agent.
•
Dry with kitchen paper or a dry kitchen towel.
Stubborn stains can best be re-mo-ved with a liq-uid abrasive cream
or a soft sponge. Never use scouring powders, scouring pads, sharp
objects or aggressive cleaning agents.
•
Stubborn stains can also be removed with a mild cleaning agent
such as washing-up liquid.
•
Remove water marks and lime scale with vinegar.
•
Metal marks (caused by sliding pans) can be difficult to remove.
•
Use a glass scraper to remove food spills. Melted plastic and sugar
is also best removed with a glass scraper.
Never use
•
Never use abrasives. They leave scratches in which dirt and lime
scale can accumulate.
•
Never use anything sharp such as steel wool or scourers.
