11. RECORDINGS
PVR recording
You can record programmes onto an external USB memory (hard disk or memory stick) plugged
into one of the two USB ports on the TV.
Note:
Please note here that not all USB sticks or external hard disks are compatible. Problems can oc-
cur especially with USB 3.0 storage media. Given the large number of models and memory sizes
available, we cannot guarantee that all USB memory devices on the market will function pro-
perly. Important for the function is above all a read/write speed of the storage media of more
than 5 MB/s, for HD recordings even higher. External hard disks should preferably be plugged
into the USB input, which can output up to 500 mA current to operate the hard disk.
You can programme the recording as a timer recording in the EPG menu or as an instant recor-
ding by pressing the button with the red dot on the remote control.
For recordings via the EPG menu, press the red key (recording) in the EPG menu to start the PVR
mode. A submenu is called up in which you can select the recording settings consisting of the
channel to be recorded (programme position) and the recording time (start time and end time)
as well as enter whether the recording is to be made „once a day", „weekly", „daily", „every
Mon-Fri" or „every Mon-Sat".
