9.7 Signal Information
In the PROGRAMME menu, use the
to select the menu item „Signal Information" to
read the signal strength and quality of the recei-
ved programme. This is useful, for example, for
aligning manually adjustable satellite antennas.
Press the „MENU" key on the remote control to
call up the main menu.
Use the arrow keys on the remote control to
select the Function menu and press „OK".
Use the arrow keys to change the highlighted
setting and to select the line where you want
to make settings. To exit a setting or the menu,
press the „MENU" key.
In this menu you have the following setting options:
OSD time:
The duration for which OSD menus are displayed before they are
automatically hidden can be set here with 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s and „Always".
Lock:
See chapter 10.1 „LOCK submenu".
CEC:
If you have connected devices to the TV set via HDMI, you can set here
whether the TV set should automatically switch to standby or on via these
devices. The prerequisite is that the connected device also supports CEC.
PVR list and
PVR option:
See Chapter 11 „Recordings".
ECO mode:
Determines the maximum picture brightness. In ECO mode „Off the
television radiates at full brightness, but also requires more power than in
ECO mode „On".
Blue screen:
When „Blue Screen" is switched off (Off), the screen is black when there is
no information to be displayed or as a background to menu screens when
no programme is being played. In the „On" position, the background is
blue instead of black.
Teletext language: Pressing the „OK" key takes you to a submenu in which you can select the
teletext language „West", „East", „Russian", „Farsi" and „Arabic".
Audio language:
For stations which broadcast the sound in several languages, you can select
the preferred audio language here. The languages in which the programme
is broadcast are available for selection.
Subtitle
language setting:
You can select the language of the subtitles displayed by the televisi on. You
can select the subtitle language to be displayed by the television when a
programme is broadcast with subtitles. The languages available are the
same as for audio languages (see above).
