The mitre angle gauge is set by lowering down the top part of the saw and checking that the blade is at
right angles to the fence guide using a right-angled triangle. Loosen the four adjustment bolts on the mitre
angle gauge under the worktable, set the angle gauge to 0° and then retighten the bolts.
The bevel angle gauge is set by lowering the top part of the saw and checking that the blade is at right
angles to the worktable using a right-angled triangle. Loosen the bevel adjustment knob. Turn the
adjustment bolt 0° (u) until the gauge on the back of the saw shows 0°. Now angle the top part of the saw
to 45° and turn the adjustment bolt for 45° (v) until the gauge shows 45°.

Remove sawdust, dust and dirt using a vacuum cleaner, compressed air or a brush. Check that the
motor vents are not blocked.
Clean the saw by wiping the outer parts with a damp cloth.

Lubricate all moving parts with a light lubricating oil.

Never use strong or corrosive detergents on the saw blade. They can damage the light metal parts
•
on the saw and affect its functionality.
Replace the carbon brushes (9) if they are worn.

Transport
Before lifting or transporting the saw, lower the top part and lock in this position by pressing in the lock pin
fully.
The saw can be moved using the carrying handles (22). Note that the saw is very heavy. Use the correct
lifting technique.
