Check that the orientation of the blade corresponds with the direction of rotation of the motor.

Release the blade guard and spindle lock.
•
Turn the saw blade by hand to check that it rotates freely.
Check that the gap between the saw blade and cleaver blade is 5-6 mm. If the gap is less or more, adjust
the cleaver blade as follows:
•
Loosen the adjustment knob on the cleaver blade.
Then loosen the adjustment screw (t) on the cleaver blade and adjust the cleaver blade so that the
•
gap between the saw blade and cleaver blade is 5-6 mm.
Tighten the adjustment screw and then tighten the adjustment knob again.
•
Adjusting angle gauge
The angle gauge for the saw is set at the factory but can become inaccurate if the saw is subjected to
heavy use. Set the gauge as follows:
