Depth stop
The depth stop (c) can be released or connected as necessary. Release it for crosscut/mitre cutting on
thin and wide workpieces and when using the saw for circular sawing. Connect it for crosscut/mitre cutting
on thick workpieces.
Turn the depth stop clockwise to release it.

Turn the depth stop anti-clockwise to connect it.
•
Plug in to a mains socket and switch on the power.

Setup for circular sawing
The saw is preconfigured for use as a crosscut/mitre saw. If it is going to be used as a table circular saw,
it must be adjusted as described below.
•
Check that the turntable (16) is set to 0° (saw blade parallel to the base) and is properly secured
using the adjustment screws (18) on the fence guide (15).

Check that the top of the saw is properly secured using the bevel setting handle (1).
•
Loosen the adjustment knob (8) on the cleaver blade (5) and tip it forward so that it is level with the
saw blade. Open the movable blade guard (13) fully and press the cleaver blade sideways so that it
is outside the saw blade. Release the blade guard and tighten the adjustment knob.
