Pull out the lock pin (d) and turn it 90° clockwise.

Release the depth stop.

Hold the lock pin, lower the top of the saw fully, and release the lock pin. Lock the top in the
lowered position. Check that it is securely locked. If the top cannot be locked in the lowered
position, turn the depth adjustment knob (2) several turns clockwise.
Press the release handle (e) down and press the table slowly and carefully downwards so that it

turns 180° on its hinges (20) and locks when the underside is facing upwards.
Remove the lower blade guard (27) by unscrewing the retaining screw (f).

Press the button (g) on the blade guard (h) and hold, place the blade guard on the tip of the cleaver
•
blade (i) and release the button. Check that the blade guard is properly secured.
