PT-PHIs are selected according to the table, observing the following:
a) Depending on the system volume, several PT-PHIs may be needed. If the system volume
is between two cartridge sizes, the resulting gap (from the system volume) can always be
covered with the next smaller PT-PHI.
Example: If the system volume of 6 m³ (pH 7) is between the PT-PHI 4000 (4 m³) and PT-PHI
8000 (8 m³) cartridges, the PT-PHI 4000 (4 m³) and the PT-PHI 2000 (2 m³) cartridges are
flushed in one after the other.
b) With pH values in between, you can round up or down to the next 0.5 (6.5 / 7.0 / 7.5).
Example: If a pH value of 7.2 is measured, you round down to 7.0 and select the cartridge
according to the system volume. At a pH value of 7.3, you round up and read at 7.5.
c) With pH values between 7.5 and 8.2 and aluminium components in the system, there
is initially no need for action. In this case the pH value should be checked after the heating
season.
d) For aluminium-free systems up to an existing pH value of 9, dose according to the table
corresponding to a pH value of 7.5.
e) For pH values < 6.3 in the demineralised circulating water, perma-trade Wassertechnik
should be consulted.

ically. After closing the heating feed shut-off valve (9), relieve the system pressure (via
sampling valve)
