Press the MODE-button 22 in the normal time display 1 x long and 3 x short. The
time zone will blink and can be set by pressing the mit - MAX/MIN-button 19 or the
+/AIR PRESSURE-button 21. Press the MODE-button 22, to confirm your setting.
The hours blink and the weather station will display the changed time (for example 1
hour back) after a brief moment.

Reception problems

The DCF77 radio signal is transmitted from a location near Frankfurt am Main and
can be received within a radius of approximately 1500 km around Frankfurt am
Main. However, there are some obstacles and sources of interference, which may
substantially hinder reception. If your weather station does not correctly receive the
DCF77 radio signal, please hang or place the weather station in a different location
at your site. Please note that devices such as computers, telephones, radios and
televisions may cause electromagnetic radiation which can interfere with the DCF77
signal reception. Other possible detriments to reception are: strong building
insulation (metal building materials), nearby mountains or atmospheric interference.
It may also be necessary to replace the batteries.

Switch radio reception on and off

You can switch off radio reception by holding down - MAX/MIN-button 19 and the
+/AIR PRESSURE-button 21 together = (RCC OFF-button 20) for 3 seconds. The
radio tower 26
will disappear. The radio-controlled weather station will no longer
receive a signal.
You can manually switch on radio reception by pressing down - MAX/MIN-button
19 and the +/AIR PRESSURE-button 21 together = (RCC OFF-button 20) for 3
seconds. The radio waves 26
will disappear. The radio-controlled weather
station will attempt to receive a new signal between 04:00 and 05:00 o'clock and
will automatically correct the time after successful signal reception. If the reception
attempt is successful, the radio control indicator 26
will appear permanently on
the display.

Light

Briefly activate the backlight by pressing the LIGHT/SNOOZE-button 5.

12/24-hour time format

Press the MODE-button 22 in the normal time display 1 x long and 2 x short. The
12/24-hour time format will blink and can be set by pressing the mit - MAX/MIN-
button 19 or the +/AIR PRESSURE-button 21. AM will appear on the display in the
morning, PM in the afternoon if the 12-hour time format is selected.

Temperature unit

Select the temperature unit Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F) by pressing the MODE-
button 22 in the normal time display 1 x long. The temperature unit will blink and
can be set by pressing the mit - MAX/MIN-button 19 or the +/AIR PRESSURE-
button 21.

Speed setting

Press and hold buttons to use the speed setting feature when setting numerical
values.

Basic settings

You can configure the following settings: temperature unit, time zone, time, date,
language of the weekday display and location. Press and hold the MODE-button
22 in the normal time display for 3 seconds, the temperature unit C°/F° will flash
and can be set with the - MAX/MIN-button 19 or the +/AIR PRESSURE-button 21.
Press MODE-button 22 to confirm the setting. Set the air pressure unit hPa/inHg,
time format 24 hr/12hr, time zone 00- (-)11, hours, minutes, seconds, year, month,
day and the language of the weekday display (GE=German, FR=French,
ES=Spanish, IT=Italian, NE=Dutch, DA=Danish, RU=Russian, EN=English), country
and location (see location table) in the same way. If the location is changed, it will
take some time before the values for the moon and sunrise and moon and sunset
times are displayed.
