3.1
Installing the groundwater station
f Position the installation template horizontally at the re-
f
quired installation location. The installation template is
located on one of the flaps of the packaging box.
f Mark the holes on the wall.
f
f Drill the holes.
f
f Insert suitable rawl plugs into the holes.
f
f Turn the double ended screws into the rawl plugs.
f
f Remove the upper shell of the insulation from the
f
groundwater station.
f Place the groundwater station over the double ended
f
screws, followed by the washers provided. Secure the
groundwater station with the relevant nuts.

f Fit the air vent valve and the drain & fill valve in the brine
f
circuit.
f Ensure that the levers of the 3-way ball valves are posi-
f
tioned for throughput, as shown in the diagram.

3.2 Installing the brine circuit
Note
Read and observe chapter "Installing the heat source
system" in the installation instructions for the brine/
water heat pump.
f Install a safety assembly in the brine circuit.
f
Note
Some brine/water heat pumps are supplied with a
safety assembly.
Note
The heat exchanger should only be operated in coun-
tercurrent (see chapter "Specification / Standard cir-
cuits").
f Fill the brine circuit with an ethylene glycol/water mix-
f
ture with at least 25 % by vol. ethylene glycol. Check for
tightness.
f After filling, vent the brine circuit.
f
3.2.1 Heat source sensor
f Check whether a heat source sensor has already been
f
installed in the brine/water heat pump. If this is not the
case, install the heat source sensor at the groundwater
station heat pump return (see chapter "Specification /
Standard circuits").
Use contact sensor AVF 6 as a heat source sensor to capture
the brine temperature.
f Clean the pipe.
f
f Apply heat conducting paste.
f
f Secure the sensor with a cable tie.
f
f Connect the contact sensor on heat pump manager
f
WPM II to the heat source sensor connection (WPMW II
terminal X2/6 and earth; WPMS II terminal X12/1 and 2).
