The available options are "On" or "Off".
Please note that the Parking Monitor function may lead to automatic
recording of persons that can result in legal actions. See also the section
on recordings of persons and the right to one's own image in the Safety
instructions at the beginning of these operating instructions.
Beep Sound
Here, you can set whether or not the Dashboard Camera makes a sound
every time you press a button.
The available options are "On" or "Off".
Select the desired display menu language (see also "Setting the menu
Language
language" on page 20).
Select the mains frequency to avoid any interference from fluorescent

lighting. A mains frequency of 50 Hz is used across Europe; in America
the mains uses a frequency of 60 Hz.
To save power and to protect the screen you can have the display (13)
Screen Saver
switch off after a certain time. In this case only the white recording LED
(11) will light.
You can choose between the power-off times of 1 minute, 3 minutes,
5 minutes and 10 minutes or disable the screen saver function.
To reactivate the picture when the screen saver has engaged, press any
button except the On/Off button (8).
To save power and to protect the screen you can have the display (13)
switch off after a certain time. In this case only the white recording LED
(11) will light.
This function lets you delete all contents from your memory card (optional
Format
accessory) and renew the file saving structure on your card (formatting).
CAUTION! All saved videos and pictures will be erased and cannot be
restored. This also applies to protected files. Make sure that all
recordings you want to keep have been backed up to a different storage
medium.
