OPERATION
Checking remaining cooking time
The timer display shows all timer settings. The different timer settings are shown clockwise in the
display in turn.
1. Touch the timer key as many times as necessary, to select the zone of which you want to
see the remaining time.

The zone is identified by a flashing point next to the timer display.
The timer display will show the remaining time of the selected cooking zone.

Switching off the timer
If you want to switch off the timer prior the end of the preset time:
1. Touch the timer key as many times as necessary, to select the zone of which you want to
disable the timer.
2. Simultaneously touch the '-' and '+' key of the timer.
The illuminated point next to the display is switched off.

Switching on the automatic heat-up function
This function sets the cooking zone at the highest level in order to bring your pan rapidly up to
the required temperature. After a given time interval, the power level returns to the established
level. This function is available for power level 1 to 8.

1. Switch on the hob and place a suitable pan on one of the cookings zones.
The cooking zone should be off; a zero (0) should be on the display.

2. Touch and hold the '+' key for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a short acoustic
signal.
'A' and level '9' flash quickly alternately in the display.

3. Use the '-' key to set the power level you wish to cook with after the power setting with
automatic heat-up time is finished.
After setting the power level, a short beep will sound after about 3 seconds; the

automatic heat-up function is activated.
