BEFORE FIRST USE
Minimum pan diameter
•
The diameter of the bottom of the pan must be at least:
▷
90 mm for zone ø 145 mm
110 mm for zone ø 180 mm
▷
130 mm for zone ø 210
▷
▷
230 mm for connected Bridge zones
•
You will achieve the best results by using a pan with the same diameter as the zone. If a pan
is too small the cooking zone will not work.
Attention
Grains of sand may cause scratches which cannot be removed. Only put pans with
a clean bottom on the hob. We recommend that you lift pans and not slide them
over the hob.
Power level setting
The cooking zones have 9 levels and a boost level.
•
Touch the '+' or '-' key of the desired cooking zone.
Touching the '+' key for the first time displays setting '9'.
▷
Touching the '-' key for the first time displays setting '4'.
▷
•
Use the '+' or the '-' key of the desired cooking zone to choose the desired power setting.
Set the power level to 9 and then touch the '+' key to select the Boost level.
The cooking zone starts at the selected power level.
▷
Power distribution cooking zones
•
Maximum power available is depending on the power connection of the hob. Consult
chapter 'Settings / Total maximum power'.
•
Two cooking zones one in front of the other effect each other. When both of these cooking
zones are switched on at the same time, the power is automatically shared between them.
▷
If the maximum power has been reached, an audio signal will sound.
•
If one of the cooking zones is set to boost and you want to set the other zone to setting 9 or
Boost, then first set the cooking zone that is set to boost to a lower setting.
•
The right and left cooking zones do not influence each other. You can set one cooking zone
from the left side to Boost or one from the right side to Boost.
•
If the 'Total maximum power' is set at 3.7 or lower, then the cooking zones on the left and
right do influence each other.
