Troubleshooting
When an error occurs in the toilet you will receive a message on the display. Below are some
examples of error codes that may come up and what you should go to correct them. A more
detailed list and information can be found at www.separett.com
Fan stopped /
The fan does not start
1. Check to see that nothing has got caught up in the fan
2. Check through the exhaust air outlet on the back of the toilet that the fan blades rotate freely
3. Try cleaning the fan with the brush
Incineration time maximized
The incineration has been going for more than six hours since the last program selection. Restart
the toilet by turning off the power switch and then turning it on again.
No power /
No main power
1. Check that the power cord is in the wall socket and that the switch have been turned on
2. Check that there is power at the wall socket. Check fuses and residual-current circuit breaker
in
3. Check all three fuses on the circuit board. The best troubleshooting is to measure incoming
current and see how far it goes
4. Check that the switch and cords are undamaged and working
Temperature outlet air /
1. Let the fan cool down the toilet
2. Check that the ash pan is in the correct position and that the handle has been turned to the
right
3. Check that the installation has been carried out correctly and that the ventilation is working
4. Check that the lid of the incineration chamber opens and closes as it should when the flush
handle is pressed down
Heating time up /
1. Check whether the overheating protection has been triggered
2. Check that the ash pan is in the correct position and that the handle has been turned to the
right
3. Restart the toilet by turning the switch off and then turning it on again
Overheat protect or element
The overheating protection has been triggered or the element needs to be replaced. See instruc-
tions at page 23.
The ventilation temperature is too high
The temperature in the incinirating chamber is not increasing
