Cleaning & maintenance
Clean the toilet both on the outside and inside with a slightly damp or well wrung cloth with a little
cleaning liquid. Do not rinse the toilet, either on the outside or inside, with water. The incineration
chamber and circuit board may be damaged.
Clean the toilet bowl as required. Use a slightly damp cloth and preferably treat it afterwards with
stainless steel cleaner. It creates a slippery surface that is dirt repellent.
Cleaning the ashpan should be done after emptying it twice, a message will appear to remind you on
the display when it's time. The cleaning is done in order to remove the crystals that are formed when
urine has been evaporated by the incineration. Do the following:
1.
Take the ashpan out and empty it
2.
Pour 1L of water into the ashpan
3.
Place the ashpan back into the toilet
4.
Run a BIG program
The ventilation pipe should be cleaned after 200 flushes. The display will give you a message when
this should be done. The ventilation pipe is easy to clean with the steel brush supplied with the
toilet. To ensure that you brush sufficiently in the pipe you should press and turn the brush into
the pipe until the handle is almost at its opening. Vacuum any sot or dust from the pipe.
Cleaning the ventilation pipes is easily done with an ordinary toilet brush once a year. Brush as far
as you can reach.
After 1000 incinerating hours, your toilet will recommend that you perform maintenance. During
maintenance wear parts such as the heating element is replaced, and the catalyst is also cleaned.
This maintenance operation is a recommendation, and it will increase the life span of your toilet.
