Use hearing protection equipment. Noise exposure may lead to deafness.
Use safety spectacles.
Do not dispose electrical equipment together with household garbage. In
accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EC, worn electrical and electronic
devices should be collected separately and recycled.
The machine is packed in individual cardboard package that have handles for carrying by two
people.
9. MACHINE ARRANGEMENT
The machine represents an electromechanical device. It is actuated by induction motor.
The machine has independent saw spindle and cutter block. This is necessary to exclude
a possibility of simultaneous sawing and planing. To switch between these operations just
remount the drive belt from saw spindle to cutter block. Rotation is transmitted from the motor
to saw spindle and cutter block by means of V-belt drive. The belt is tensioned automatically
under the influence of electrical motor and link spring weight.
The machine switch 9 (fig. 1) has special protection against spontaneous engage.
For blank orientation against a cutting device (circular saw blade or cutter block) and for
provision of its straight linear motion, the machine is equipped with fence 7 and attachment
for cross cutting at an angle 11. Fence 7 has a possibility of tilting at an angle. When sawing,
plate 4 is mounted on fence 7.
In order to prevent wedging of circular saw blade during cutting, the machine is equipped with
riving knife 6 with casing 5.
To provide operating comfort, the machine is equipped with measuring rules and scales. Scale
21 indicates width of the blank being cut, scale 18 indicates the fence 7 tilt angle, planing depth
scale is located on loading table 1 (view C).
Scales 21 and 18 have a possibility of adjustment with screws that attach them to saw table
and fence accordingly.
In planing mode loading table 1 has a possibility of lowering below the saw table 3 level by
means of handle 8. By turning the handle 8 it is possible to set the required planing depth. If
necessary, it is possible to mount fence 7 and cutter block 2 guard on the machine.
