Introduction
This manual describes how to install, service and use the STE water heater. The STE water
heater is a storage tank with one or two electric elements.
The information in this manual applies to types: STE 1000, STE 1500, STE 2000, STE 2500
and STE 3000.
This water heater has been manufactured and equipped in accordance with the European
standard for electric storage water heaters. The water heaters are therefore compliant with
the European Low Voltage Directive and are entitled to bear the CE mark.
Warning
Read this manual carefully before starting the water heater. Failure to read the manual and
to follow the printed instructions may lead to personal injury and damage to the water
heater.

This product can only be installed by a competent person.
This water heater is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities, or who lack the necessary experience or knowledge, unless the
person responsible for their safety is supervising them or has explained to them how the
water heater should be used
This water heater is not intended to be used by children. Always supervise children, and
ensure that they do not play with the water heater.
Failures can only be resolved with official spare parts.
As (end)user, installer or service and/or maintenance engineer you should make sure that
the entire installation meets de local applicable standards:
regulations regarding building regulations;
safety requirements for low voltage installations;
regulations regarding drink water;
regulations regarding drainage installation in buildings;
regulations regarding fire brigade, energy company and municipality,
Furthermore, the system must meet de requirements of the manufacturer.
Note
Additions to regulations, requirements and guidelines are applicable at the time of
installation of the water heater.

installation engineers;
service and maintenance engineers.
