OPERATION
At least one cooking zone must be active.
1. Simultaneously touch the plus (+) key and minus (-) key.
All displays show the pause symbol.

The pause function is activated.
2. To deactivate the pause function, simultaneously touch the plus (+) key and minus (-) key
again.
The pause function is deactivated.

The conditions before the pause are restored.

Switching on the child safety lock
You can lock the hob to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally switching on
the hob).
1. Turn all cookings knobs to the zero '0' position.
2. Turn the left front and right front cooking zone knobs simultaneously to position 'P' and
keep them in that position.
3. Then, within 2 seconds, turn the left front cooking zone knob back to position '0' and again
to position 'P'.
An 'L' will appear in the display for each cooking zone to show that the child safety lock

has now been activated.

The cooking zones cannot be used regardless of the position of the control knobs.
4. To deactivate the child safety lock, turn the left front and right front cooking zone knobs
simultaneously to position 'P' and keep them in that position.
5. Then, within 2 seconds, turn the left front cooking zone knob back to position '0' and again
to position 'P'.
In all displays 'L' will disappear to show that the child safety lock has now been

deactivated.
Operating the hob with the timer
You can set a time after which the cooking zone will switch off automatically. This function can be
used on all cooking zones at the same time.
1. Place a pan on a cooking zone.
2. Turn the control knob clockwise to the desired position.
The display shows the setting that you have set.

3. Touch the timer key to switch on the timer.
▷
The timer's display shows "00", and an indicator light appears next to the display of the
first active cooking zone.
