Remove the plug from the socket before
adjusting or servicing the tool. Wipe down the
housing with a damp cloth only and then dry
well. Do not use solvents and do not wet the
equipment with water: Never use high
pressure or steam jet device to clean the unit
Always keep the vent slits free.
After each use or prolonged use, now and
again carefully clean the cutter bar; rub over
with an oily cloth or treat with a metal-care

spray (
Fig. 3 ).
Always retighten loose screws and nuts.
Always have damaged cutter bars repaired
by a specialist. Store the hedge-trimmer in a
dry place in
the transport casing provided (7), so that the
blades are not accessible.
If the cutter bar is correctly positioned inside
the transport casing, this will ensure perfect
running and the safety position of the blades.
Blades should only be replaced and sharpened
by a qualified technician.
If there is the need to change the cable, the
change has to be done by the manufacturer
or an its agent, to avoid a safety risk.

ISPOSAL
Should you find one day that your product
needs replacement, or if it is of no further use
to you, do not dispose of it with household
waste. Make this product available for pre-
sorted waste collection.
Dispose of irreparably defective tools in
accordance with local regulations.
