ATTENTION! The fi rst distance measured must be greater than the
second one and the second must be greater than the third one. Oth-
erwise, the result of measurement will be invalid.
Adding and subtracting the distance
The laser distance meter enables adding and subtracting of meas-
urements. Start the device, take a direct measurement of the fi rst
distance, then press add/subtract, short to add distances, long to
subtract distances. Depending on the selection made, the display will
show "+" for adding up distances or "-" for subtracting distances. Then
measure the second distance directly. The result of the operation ap-
pears in the last measurement fi eld. Pressing the adding or subtract-
ing button again allows you to take another distance measurement
and add or subtract it from the previous result.
Measurement memory
The distance meter is equipped with a memory which automatically
stores the last 99 measurements. Older results are deleted and au-
tomatically erased and replaced with new ones. To view the stored
measurements, switch on the device, and press the measurement
memory button. Using the add/subtract button, it is possible to view
the last 99 measurement results. Briefl y pressing the button allows
you to browse through the following measurement results stored
in the memory, while pressing and holding the add/subtract button
allows you to browse through the previous measurements stored
in the memory. By briefl y pressing the delete button, the currently
read measurement result can be erased from the device's memory.
In addition to the measured values, you may also view: the memo-
ry register number, the measurement method used, and the unit of
measurement.
Continuous angle measurement
The distance meter continuously measures the position angle of it.
The measurement is carried out by an internal position sensor and
works even when the laser pointer is switched off . The measurement
result is shown on the screen.
Calibration of the distance meter
The distance meter is equipped with a calibration function. This func-
tion maintains measurement precision. It is recommended to check
the correctness of the readings at least once a year. The results of
a distance meter measurement can be compared to measurements
taken, for example, with a high-grade steel tape measure. If there
are discrepancies between the measurement results, the instrument
