9.) Lifetime
The maximum service life under optimum storage conditions
(see point 8.) and independent of use is 10 years from the date of
production.
The maximum service life begins with the delivery to the end
user (proof e.g. by purchase receipt with serial number and/or date
entry in the instructions for use, point 11.) and amounts to 8 years
without recognisable wear and under optimal storage conditions. If
there is no documentation of the date of delivery to the end user, the
maximum service life begins with the production date indicated on
the product.
At the beginning of the service life, the product must be inspected
and, if necessary, serviced by a competent person as required, but at
least every 12 months. In addition, the respective country-specific
regulations must be observed, which may prescribe shorter periods.
Irrespective of the maximum service life, the discard age depends on
the condition of the product, its frequency of use and the external
conditions of use. The PPE loses durability in the course of its service
life. Durability is determined by use, thermal, chemical, mechanical
and other harmful influences.

The information on the affixed labels corresponds to that of the
supplied product (see serial number).
