To switch back on:
1. Disconnect the mains cable (17).
2. Remove the blockage in the device
(see "Freeing up a jam").
3. Wait for at least 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the device to the mains
voltage supply.
5. Move the direction switch ( 1) into
the "I" position.
6. Press the reset button ( 2).
7. Turn the device back on (see "Switch-
ing the shredder on and off").

Before you shred roots, remove any
remaining soil and stones from them

Do not shred soft, damp material
such as kitchen waste, but take it
straight to the compost.

Keep a few dry branches for the end,
as they will help clean the shredder.

through the cylinder. Otherwise, the
cylinder may jam the next time you
switch the shredder on.
Freeing up a jam
Changing the rotation direction:
1. Change the direction of rotation, as
described in the section "Operation/
