diameter for extension cables
measuring up to 25 m must be
at least 2.5 mm², and 2.5 mm²
for cables longer than 25m.
Always roll the whole cable off
the reel before use. Check the
cable for damage.
• Do not unplug the shredder by
the cable. Keep the cable away
from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Installation manual
Unpacking
1.
Remove the shredder from the
packaging.
2.
Make sure that the on/off
switch (
on "O".

For packaging reasons, the
chassis (10) is folded up. Turn
both handles on the chassis
(10) down.
Assembling the shredder
1.
Screw the two wheels (12) to
the chassis (10) with the inclu-
ded mounting material in the
order shown. Insert the Allen
key (20), included in the scope
of delivery, into the hole on the
axis (21) to hold in place and
prevent it from turning as well.
A suitable spanner (22) is also
enclosed.

Clip the covering caps (19) into
the wheels (12).

Operation
Before the initial start-up, the spa-
cing of the pressure plate must
be checked and, if necessary,
adjusted (see Chapter "Freeing up
a jam/Change the distance of the
pressure plate").
The spacing of the pressure plate
is often set too narrow at the fac-
tory. This can result in the pressure
plate breaking.
Start-up
Before initial start-up, check that the
collection box (
11) and the safety switch
(
14) are in the correct position.
The shredder cannot be switched
on before the collector box and
safety switch are in their proper
positions.
Switching the shredder on and off
Make sure that the mains power
voltage agrees with the type plate
on the shredder.
