After inserting the batteries, reception of the radio signal starts
automatically. The radio symbol
(1) flashes in the display. This
process can take 3-10 minutes.
Note: Please do not move the radio-controlled clock during the
reception process.
During radio reception no settings and button operations are
possible.
The radio-controlled clock synchronizes the internal time daily from
01:00 to 04:00 on the hour. If the reception attempt is
unsuccessful, it will be repeated at 05:00 and 06:00 o'clock. If the
reception of the time signal remains unsuccessful, set the time
manually (see Basic settings).
If the reception is successful, the radio symbol
(1) appears
permanently and the time (4), date (19) and weekday (18) are set
automatically. DST (13) appears on the display during summer
time.
Quick setting
When setting numerical values, you can use the quick setting by
pressing and holding the UP button (20) and the DOWN button
(22).
Basic settings
The following settings are possible: language of the day of the
week, year, month, day, hours, minutes, time zone and radio
control ON/OFF.
Press and hold the SET button (21) in the normal time display for
approx. 3 seconds, the language of the day of the week display
flashes and can be set with the UP button (20) or the DOWN
button (22). The following languages are available: GER =
German, ENG = English, ITA = Italian, FRE = French, DUT = Dutch,
SPA = Spanish, DAN = Danish. Press the SET button (21) to confirm
the setting. Set the year, month, day, hours, minutes, time zone and
radio control ON-on/OFF-off in the same way.
Time zone adjustment
If you are in a country in which the current time differs despite the
DCF77 signal, use the time zone adjustment to use your radio-
