PTY search
This is where you can specify the desired station type for the PTY search and start searching.
Use the rotary control VOLUME (9) to set the desired programme type and push one of the buttons
44 (8) or 66 (1) to start searching.
Now search for a station with this programme type starts. The following programme modes are available:
NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO, SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA, CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED, POP M, ROCK M,
EASY M, LIGHT M, CLASSICS, OTHER M, WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN, SOCIAL, RELIGION, PHONE IN,
TRAVEL, LEISURE, JAZZ M, COUNTRY, NATION M, OLDIES, FOLK M, DOCUMENT, TEST, ALARM
HOUR 12H / 24H
12H:
The time is displayed in 12h format.
24H:
The time is displayed in 24h format.
PCLK ON / OFF
PCLK ON:
The time is displayed when the device is off.
PCLK OFF:
The time is not displayed when the device is off.
CON BT / DISCON BT
This function connects and disconnects Bluetooth® devices to and from the SD tuner. For more information
on this, see chapter "Bluetooth® operation":
TA SEEK / ALARM
TA SEEK:
When the radio has lost the traffic information, it will seek a new station with Traffic
Announcement coding.
TA ALARM:
When the radio cannot receive the TA code anymore, there will be an alarm signal.
PI SOUND / MUTE
Device reaction when a transmission area is reached where 2 different stations with different programme
identification are transmitting the same AF (alternative frequency):
PI SOUND:
The radio switches to the new station for a few seconds and then back.
PI MUTE:
The new station is muted.
