f) Inserting / Replacing the Remote Control Battery
Observe correct polarity when inserting the battery.
Do not leave any batteries lying around openly. There is a risk of batteries being swallowed by
children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause alkali burns if they come in contact with the skin.
Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
Do not short-circuit the battery and do not throw it into fire. It also must not be recharged. Dan-
ger of explosion.
Remove the battery when the device is not in use for extended periods of time.
• Unlock the safety lever und remove the battery holder on the back of the remote control.
• Insert a new 3V lithium button cell battery CR2025 in the correct polarity. The positive pole of the battery
must point up.
• Close the battery compartment again. The latching tab must latch audibly.
• If the remote control no longer functions properly, the battery is discharged and must be replaced with a
new one of the same type.
• Battery change takes place as described above.
• Replace the discharged battery with a new battery of the same type.
