Important:
Use the left opening close to the mains connection screw terminals only for the
mains supply!
The right opening can then be used for all other lines.
Never place the mains supply and any lines with low voltage through the same of
the two case openings!
Cut the rubber plug with a sharp knife or punch it through with a pointed screwdriver.
Connect the mains supply to the screw terminals (B). Observe correct connection; see screw
terminal labels.
The protected earth wire must be connected! Otherwise, there is a danger to life by
electric shock in case of malfunction!
f) Closing / Screwing Shut the Casing
Put on the upper case part correctly. It has to be in the guide of the lower case part at the left
and the right and the LED openings must point upwards.
Turn in the two screws so that the upper case part is fastened.
g) Connecting Mains Voltage and Functional Test
Switch on the mains voltage again (switch on FI circuit breaker and activate corresponding
circuit breaker system or screw in fuse).
Then check the function of the switching or locking / alarm system connected to the emergency
power supply.
h) LED Functions
• Both LEDs "AC Power" and "12 V" are lit: Normal Operation
• LED "AC Power" off, LED "12 V" lit: Mains voltage outage, battery operation on (if lead battery
was installed)
• LED "AC Power" on , LED "12 V" off: Overload on 12 V output
