c) Locking System / Alarm System Wiring
The emergency power supply has two connection / switching channels and timers that are
independent of each other.
Observe the labelling of the board so that you do not swap or mix the wiring for the two
connection / switching channels by accident.
For wiring examples, see the following chapter 10.
Only place cables and lines with low voltage through the right of the two case openings / rubber
plugs. The left case opening (near the screw terminals for mains voltage) is only intended for
mains supply.
Punch through the rubber plug, e.g. with a pointy knife or screwdriver.
Never place the mains supply and any lines with low voltage through the same of
the two case openings!
d) Lead Battery Connection
The two connection cables for the lead battery are equipped with cable lugs. Connect them to
the lead battery in correct polarity (plus/+ = red cable, minus/- = black cable).
Place the lead battery in the lower part of the emergency power supply so that it cannot fall out.
The lead battery can be attached, e.g. with double-sided adhesive tape.
e) Mains Connection
There are two openings closed with a rubber plug on the top of the case.
One of them is used for the mains supply to the case, the other for all low voltage cables.
