9. Installation and Connection
a) General Information
Caution, important!
Observe Chapter "5. Safety Notes" and "8. Preparation for Installation"!
Always proceed in the following sequence:
1. Installing the emergency power supply to the wall
2. Locking system / alarm system wiring
3. Lead battery connection
4. Mains power connection
5. Closing / screwing shut the casing
6. Connecting mains voltage and functional test
b) Installing the Emergency Power Supply to the Wall
• The emergency power supply is intended for wall installation; observe correct alignment on
the wall: The cable must come from above.
Otherwise, a lead battery used for support cannot be placed in the case.
• Open the case by unscrewing the two screws on the front. Then carefully remove the case
lid.
• Mount the lower part with the electronics on the wall with the four holes.
Use appropriate screws and dowels for the surface. When drilling or tightening
screws, ensure that no wires or lines are damaged.
