Questions and answers
Question: Is it safe to cycle with a Gazelle Innergy in
terms of electromagnetic radiation?
Answer: Yes, Gazelle Innergy bikes comply with the stringent
EMC guidelines of the EPAC standard EN-15194. EMC stands for
Electro Magnetic Compatibility and is used across Europe for all
sorts of electrical applications. EMC standardization regulates
acceptable radiative emissions from and exposure to electrical
equipment. It is therefore safe for people with a pacemaker or
ICD to use an Innergy bike.
Question: Do I need to have third-party insurance when I
ride a Gazelle Innergy?
Answer: No, this is no obligation.
Question: Which Service & Warranty provisions apply?
Answer: The Service & Warranty provisions referred to in the
Gazelle user manual. The following specific warranty provisions
also apply. With normal treatment, use and maintenance,
Gazelle provides a 2-year warranty on the motor, the display,
the pedal-force sensor and the controls. The warranty does
not include normal wear and tear. The battery is guaranteed
for 600 full charges. Once the battery has been charged 600
times, it should still provide 80% charges.
Question: May I carry out maintenance on the
bike myself?
Answer: As stated on other pages in this manual,
only authorized Gazelle Innergy dealers are
permitted
to disassemble and open electronic parts.
Disregarding this renders all guarantee and
liability provisions null and void. You may of
course carry out all normal mechanical maintenance
activities in accordance with the instructions in
Gazelle's general user manual.
