Charging the battery in the bike:
•
Comply with the above charging instructions.
•
P ark the bike solidly on its kickstand in the vicinity of a
power socket.
•
O pen the rubber cover cap of the battery charge plug, on
the rear left at the taillight, and put in the power plug of
the charger.
•
P ut down the charger securely and put the power plug in

the socket.
•
I f a LED light bulb in the taillight starts flickering, you
have properly connected the charger.
•
The flashing LED displays the battery's level of charge.
The LEDs start on the far right and move to the left. Each
LED indicates approximately 20% of a full charge. When
the LED at the far left is flashing, the battery is nearly
fully charged. (photo 14)

I f you are finished charging, first remove the power plug
from the battery and put the cover cap back over the
charge plug. Then take the power plug from the charger
out of the socket.

Not all batteries display flashing LEDs when charging. To
check the level of charge of these batteries, briefly press
the button on the rear light. The position of the flashing
LED indicates how full the battery is.

Once or twice a year, ride around until the battery is
completely discharged. This is because completely
discharging and then recharging the battery has a
positive impact on its operational life.
