3. Press the saw blade (16) into the work-
piece until the footplate (11) rests on
the workpiece.
4. Continue sawing along the cutting line.
Inserting and removing the
battery
WARNING! Risk of injury due to
unintentional start-up. Only insert the re-
chargeable battery into the device once
the device is fully prepared for use.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An incorrect
battery can damage the device and bat-
tery.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (29) along the guide
into the battery holder (4).
You will hear the battery click into
place.
Removing the battery
1. Press and hold the battery release (32)
on the battery (29).
2. Pull the battery out of the battery hold-
er (4).
Switching on and off
Switching on
You can regulate the stroke rate continu-
ously with the on/off switch. The more
you press the on/off switch, the higher the
stroke rate.
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (29) in-
to the device.
2. Press the switch lock (1).
3. Press the On/Off switch (2).
The LED work light (22) lights up.
4. Release the switch lock (1).
Switching off
1. To turn it off, release the on/off switch
(2).
2. Do not pull the sawblade out of the cut
until it has come to a standstill.

Transport
Information on transporting the device:
• Switch off the device and remove the
battery (29). Make sure that all moving
parts have come to a complete stop.
• Remove the attachment tool.
• Always carry the device by the handle
(3).

and storage
WARNING! Risk of injury due to un-
intentional start-up. Protect yourself when
performing maintenance or cleaning work.
Switch off the device and remove the bat-
tery (29).
You should have any repair and mainten-
ance work that is not described in these
instructions carried out by our Service
Centre. Only use original replacement
parts.
Cleaning
WARNING! Electric shock! Never
spray down the device with water.
NOTICE! Risk of damage. Chemical sub-
stances may attack the plastic parts of the
machine. Do not use any cleaning agents
or solvents.
• Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing
and handles of the machine clean. Use
a damp cloth or brush to do this.
Maintenance
The device is maintenance free.
