Attaching and removing the
saw blade
CAUTION! Risk of injury
when touching the saw blade.
Wear protective gloves when
handling the saw blade.
Requirements
• The saw blade is suitable for the re-
spective material.
• The chuck is free of splinters or other
material residue.
Installing the saw blade (Fig. B)
1. Turn the release of the chuck (23) as
far as possible. Keep the release of the
chuck fixed in this position.
2. Place the saw blade (16/17) into the
chuck (13).
3. Release the release of the chuck (23)
los.
4. Make sure that the saw blade (16/17)
is attached correctly and the teeth are
pointing in the cutting direction.
Removing the saw blade (Fig. B)
Hold the device in a way that no persons
in the vicinity are injured by the ejected
saw blade.
1. Hold the saw blade (16/17) firmly.
2. Turn the release of the chuck (23) as
far as possible.
The saw blade (16/17) is ejected.
If the saw blade is not ejected: Hold
the release of the chuck and pull the
saw blade from the chuck.
3. Release the release of the chuck (23)
los.
Using the parallel guide
The parallel guide can be fitted on both
sides of the tool.
Fitting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20) if ne-
cessary.
2. Push the parallel guide (15) into the
holders (18).
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
Removing the parallel guide
(Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Pull the parallel guide (15) out of the
holders (18).
Adjusting the parallel guide
(Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (20).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide
(15) so that you can read the desired
cutting width on the footplate (11)
marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (20).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting
width and correct the position of the
parallel guide (15) if necessary.
Bevel cutting
Notes
• You can set the following cutting
angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 15°; 30°; 45°

• Hex key (27)
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery (29). Make sure that all mov-
ing parts have come to a complete
stop.
2. Remove the splinter guard (25).
3. Loosen the hexagon socket screws
(10) with the hex key (27).
4. Pull the footplate (11) backwards
slightly.
5. Adjust the footplate (11) to the desired
position.
