► Check the cutting blades before use. The
cutting blade(s) must be mounted properly
and must be able to rotate freely. Carry out a test run
for at least 60 seconds without any load. Do not use
cutting blades that are damaged, out-of-balance, or
vibrate. Damaged diamond cutting blades can
rupture and lead to injuries.
4.4 Working Advice
► Do not strain the machine so heavily that it comes
to a standstill.
► The machine may only be used for dry cutting.
– Adjust the cutting depth, see section "Pre-selectingthe
Cutting Depth".
– Guide the machine with both handles, applyingmodera-
te feed, suited to the material being worked.
– The machine must always work in an upward grinding
motion. Otherwise, the danger exists of it being pushed
uncontrolled out of the cut.
– After fi nishing the working procedure, swivel the cutting
unit out of the slot with the machine still running, until
the cutting unit engages in the uppermost position.
– Switch the power tool off .
Warning
► Cutting blades become very hot during
operation; do not touch them until they have co-
oled down.
WARNING!
4.5 Unlocking Figure F
► By pressing the bolt (17) the machine is
unlocked and can still be pushed forward.
When springing back, the latch snaps automatically
back to his starting position.
5.0 Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
► Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
20
Do not brake coasting cutting blades by
applying pressure to the side.
► For safe and proper working, always keep the ma-
chine and ventilation slots clean.
After fi nishing work, dismount the clamping fi xtures and
clean all clamping parts as well as the protective cover.
When the carbon brushes are worn out, the machine
switches itself off .
The machine must then be sent to an after-sales ser-
vice agent. Addresses are listed in the Section "After-
sales service and customer assistance".
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing procedures, repair should
be carried out by an after-sales service centre for
WOLFF power tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the 10-digit article number specifi ed on
the type plate of the machine.
