General advice for use of the Babboe Mountain
Optional accessories
The Babboe City Mountain and the Babboe Curve Mountain have a wide range of optional accessories
available that includes a rain tent to keep the children dry on their way to school, bench seat cushion sets, a
Maxi-Cosi carrier, a toddler seat or a chain lock. In addition, we also have several accessories that will prolong
the service life of the cargo bike, such as a cargo bike cover for all-weather protection. Please visit the website

Tyre pressure
In order to ensure comfortable and light cycling, the tyre pressure must be right, meaning it should be 3.5-4
bars. The harder the tyres, the lighter and more comfortable it is to ride the Babboe Mountain.
Rain tent use
If you have also purchased a rain tent with the Babboe Mountain, please consult its manual on how to properly
mount the poles and the rain tent.
Mounting and using the luggage carrier
As a standard, both the Babboe City Mountain and the Babboe Curve Mountain are delivered without a luggage
carrier. However, if you do want to use one, you can. The webshop has a luggage carrier available for loads up to
25 kilo for both types.

Maintenance and warranty Babboe City and Curve Mountain
The full warranty conditions for the Babboe Mountain are on our website. If you want the warranty to be valid,
you are required to service your Babboe 2 months after you have purchased it. Servicing can be carried out by
a professional bike mechanic or by a Babboe mechanic. Make sure to keep the servicing information/receipt as
proof in order to be able to present it for a warranty check.
Frame number
The frame number required to insure the Babboe Mountain can be found on the bottom of the frame near the
pedals, on the curve of the bottom bracket.
Maintenance
The Babboe Mountain comprises high-quality parts, however, maintaining your Babboe cargo bike is still im-
portant. Regularly lubricate moving parts to ensure cables stay flexible, for instance when it is freezing. Always
keep receipts for maintenance and servicing as proof if you want the warranty to be valid.
Maintenance of the wooden cargo box
Although the cargo box can resist all types of weather, we recommend using a rain cover, rain tent or cargo
bike cover. When the varnish is damaged, the wood can become vulnerable to moisture. Treat the cargo box
with a clear coat of varnish that is suitable for outdoor use to ensure no moisture can penetrate the wood.
