10. Troubleshooting
Even though the model and the remote control system were built with the latest available technology, there can still
be malfunctions or errors. For this reason, we would like to give you some information on how to deal with possible
problems. Also observe the enclosed operating instructions for the remote control system.
The model doesn't respond or does not respond properly
• Are the vehicle drive battery or the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter discharged? Exchange the
drive battery or batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter for new ones.
• Is the drive battery connected correctly to the vehicle? Check the plug connection for whether it is contaminated
or oxidised.
• Is the vehicle too far away? With a fully charged drive battery and fully charged batteries/rechargeable batteries
in the transmitter, the range should be up to 50 m. The range can be decreased by outside influences, such as
interference on the transmitter frequency, or proximity to other transmitters (not only remote controller transmitters
but also WLAN/Bluetooth
• Switch off the vehicle and then the transmitter. Release the lever (E) and the turning wheel (C). Switch on the
transmitter first (red LED (B) at the transmitter flashes) and then the vehicle.
The vehicle slows down or the steering does not work properly; the range between transmitter and vehicle
is very short
• The drive battery is weak or discharged.
The receiver in the vehicle is also supplied with power by the drive battery. Therefore, a weak or discharged drive
battery will cause the receiver to no longer work properly. Replace the drive battery by a new, fully charged one
(before inserting a new drive battery, wait at least 5 - 10 minutes until the drive has cooled down sufficiently).
• Check the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter and replace them by new ones.
The vehicle will slow down or stop in operation
• The drive battery is weak or discharged.
• The distance between the vehicle and the transmitter is too large.
The vehicle doesn't drive in a straight line correctly
• Adjust straight running on the vehicle; see chapter 9. d).
• Did your car have an accident? If so, check the vehicle for any defective or broken parts.
The vehicle moves forwards or backwards even though the lever (E) at the transmitter is not pushed.
• Switch off the vehicle and then the transmitter. Release the lever (E) and the turning wheel (C) at the transmitter, do
not move these operating elements and do not hold them. Now switch the transmitter on first and then the vehicle.

devices that also use a transmission frequency of 2.4 GHz), metal parts, buildings, etc.
