• Slowly, the fire will draw down and light the large blocks lying at the bottom of the pile.
• The door can be closed completely.
• The control slider can be partially closed, e.g. until the tip of the flame is flush with the front of the door.
ATTENTION!
The appliance temperature can be high. To operate the air sliders and door, use the cold handle
provided.
• Place 2 split logs a few centimetres apart in the appliance.
• Close the door again completely.
• Use the control slider under the door to regulate the combustion speed; more to the left is less air supply.
• If the flame cut in the regulating slider is flush with the front of the door, the appliance is burning at its
rated combustion rate.
• Refill the appliance regularly and as required, not more than the prescribed load.
• Never load with solid and/or liquid fuels other than dry wood.
• If the ash bed becomes too full over time (primary air vent at the front and rear of the appliance become
closed) then scoop out ash.
