7.LUGGAGE CARRIER
As the name implies, the luggage carrier is intended for
luggage and not as a seat for people. For the correct
maximum load, check on the carrier itself.
8.CHAIN OR BELT DRIVE
The drive of the Rucanor bicycles can consist of a
Gates belt or a chain. A regular chain requires more
maintenance than a Gates belt. Together with the
sprockets, the chain should be regularly tensioned,
cleaned and lubricated with the right maintenance
products. Do this during initial and annual
maintenance. A belt, on the other hand, requires little
to no maintenance. Just make sure the belt is not
damaged by incorrect tension or use. Thus, the belt
should not be bent or twisted. The belt can be easily
cleaned if necessary with some water.

9.MOTOR & CONTROLLER
The bike is equipped with a M070 Mivice motor, with
accompanying controller and crankshaft. The controller
contains the software, which controls the motor via the
display (D101). The motor is placed in the rear wheel and
the crankshaft contains a power sensor, which converts the
force on the pedals into support from the motor. The motor
has an output of 250W and a power of about 35 to 40 Nm
of torque.
10.LIGHTING
The lighting is connected to the electrical system and
therefore the battery and display should be on. If the lighting
does not work, the problem may be in the lamp, controller or
wiring. If one of the two lights does not work, check if the
wiring is correct and if the lamp is faulty. If neither is the
case, contact customer service.
11.DISPLAY
The display is a Mivice display (D101) and works simply. Below
the display are 2 buttons (A) (B), to switch support modes.
Hold down the top button (B) to turn on the lights. On top of
the display is the on/off button (D), keep it pressed to switch
on/off. On the side of the display (C) you can choose a
particular view, such as average speed and distance travelled.
Press and hold the C button for all settings.
