FREQUENTLY ASKED
Do the roof blades have to
stay open or closed during
heavy winds?
Extensive tests in the wind tunnel have
shown that the best position for aluminium
roof blades is stacked in the case of wind
speeds above 60 km/h. The Camargue
Skye can handle wind speeds of 120
km/h (> 11 bft) when the roof blades are
stacked. See also page 125 Wind.
Can the roof blades be
operated during frost?
Yes, but the best thing to do is to not
completely close the blades. If they
freeze together, damage can occur
when controlling the roof.
The frost function can be set via the
app. During frost, the blades rotate
2°. This activation must be done by
the installer.
QUESTIONS
What to do in case of heavy snowfall?
In case of heavy snowfall (> 50 cm)
it is best to place the roof blades in
a stacked position. This way, there is
no overload on the roof.
In areas were 50 cm of snow falls
regularly, you should also activate
the snow function in the app. In
case of heavy snowfall, the blades
will then automatically change to the
vertical or stacked snow position.
This activation must be done by the
installer.
The roof may remain closed when
there is little snow. Please note that
the roof blades are not completely
closed during frost. If they freeze
together, damage can occur when
controlling the roof. To avoid this,
activate the frost position. During
frost, the blades then rotate 2°.
