▪ Check if the sliders (4) fit precisely in the grooves (2) made for that purpose (backside panel).
▪ Ensure that the voltage marked on the rating-plate is the same as your main voltage.
3. USE OF THE FRYTASTIC FRYER
3.1 The first use
3.1.1. Use of frying oil

Remove the lid and the basket

Fill the deep fryer with oil between the MIN and MAX inside the bowl (17).
Caution: NEVER switch on/warm up the deep fryer WITHOUT oil or with UNSUFICIENT oil. If you do so, the
deep fryer may get damaged permanently. NEVER leave water in the stainless steel bowl when filling it with
oil or fat. The oil must always be between MIN and MAX, otherwise the safety thermostat switches off. Only
use oil suitable for frying/for high temperature.

Then follow the instructions from 3.2 point 1.
3.1.2. Use of solid fat
We recommend using oil instead of solid fat. However if you prefer to use fat , please use the "Melting Solid Fat"
program. The frying fat is melted as per special electronic procedure, determined in advance, in a safe and
controlled way.
1.
Remove the lid and the basket.
2.
Cut the fat in small pieces and spread over the complete heating element (fig.F).
3.
Completely unroll the power cord and insert the plug into the socket.
4.
Push the thermostat knob for 2 sec. (fig. A). On the display the text « Turbo SF System Activated » and a
sound signal will be heard.
5.
On the display following text will flash « Melting Solid Fat » (14).

Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig. C). The red lamp (fig.D) lights up and the fat will start melting.
Caution: if you do NOTpush the thermostat knob within the 15 sec. the display will return to the previous
setting. (In this case: Turbo SF System Activated)

When the fat is completely melted, the red lamp turns green and a sound signal will be heard (fig.E).
8.
Then follow the instruction of 3.2 as from point 4.
3.2. Second and next use
1.
Completely unroll the power cord and insert the plug in the socket.
2.
Push the thermostat knob during 2 sec. (fig. A). The display will show « Turbo SF System Activated » and a
sound signal will be heard.

On the display the text « Melting Solid Fat » flashes

Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature (fig. B).
Caution: if you use frying fat: FIRST follow instructions hereafter, before you turn the thermostat knob to the
desired temperature:
▪ Make some holes till the heating element with a wooden spoon in the fat (fig. G).
▪ Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig. C). The red lamp lights up (fig. D) and the fat will start to melt.
When the fat has melted, the lamp turns green and a sound signal will be heard (fig. E)
5.
Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig.C). The red lamp (fig.D) will light up and stays red during warming
up.
Caution: if you do NOT push the thermostat knob within the 15 sec. the display will return to the previous
setting.
6.
The oil/fat is at temperature. The red lamp turns green and a sound signal will be heard. (fig.E).
Remark: you can always change the temperature while frying:
▪ Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature.
▪ The desired temperature flashes.
▪ Push the thermostat knob to confirm (fig.C). The red lamp lights up (fig.D). If you if you do NOT
push the thermostat knob within the 15 sec. the display will return to the previous setting.
