DICOM Conformance Statement IBOX-DiW-EN220F
3 Implementation model
IBox-DiW implements a DICOM Modality Worklist Service Class User (SCU) which can
send DICOM queries to a DICOM Modality Worklist Service Class Provider (SCP) to
obtain patient demographic information. This information then can be used to select a
certain patient from the worklist and record images for that patient.

3.2 Functional definition of Application Entity (AE)
All communications and image transfer with the remote application is accomplished
utilizing the DICOM protocol over a network using the TCP/IP protocol stack.
The IBox-DiW establishes an association with a user selected TCP/IP port number that is
configured at the time this application is initiated. When an association is requested with
a SCP, IBOX-DiW responds with a list of SOP Class UIDs that it will accept. If a find
request is sent then it will wait for find responses.
