4.1.2 Association initiation for IBox-DiS
The IBox-DiS will open an association when
-
the network connection is available and
-
the IBox image cache is not empty
4.1.2.1 Real-World activity for Send Image operations
The IBox-DiS initiates one association for the transfer of all images of the IBox image
cache to a DICOM Image Storage Server. When all images of the cache were sent, the
association is closed. As soon as a new image is acquired, a new association will be
initiated.
4.1.2.1.1 Associated real-world activity for Send Image operations
The images are transferred via the DICOM STORE-Request. The association is closed
after the successful transfer of all images or if errors occur.
If more than one image is available in the IBox image cache they will be sent
sequentially.

4.1.2.1.2.1 Photometric interpretation
Photometric Interpretation, i.e., color mode of the pixel image data, is not a negotiable
parameter in DICOM 3.0.
IBox-DiS always exports uncompressed images in RGB mode, JPEG and MPEG-4 images
in YBR_FULL_422.
4.1.2.1.2.2 SOP Specific Conformance to Verification SOP Class
The IBox-DiS AE supports the Verification SOP Class as an SCU.
