3 Implementation model
IBox-DiS implements a DICOM Storage Service Class User (SCU) which can send DICOM
images to a DICOM Storage Service Class Provider (SCP).

3.2 Functional definition of Application Entity (AE)
All communications and image transfer with the remote application is accomplished
utilizing the DICOM protocol over a network using the TCP/IP protocol stack.
IBox-DiS establishes an association with a user selected remote AE just prior to sending
a Store request to that AE. It then sends all images contained in the IBox image cache.
After transfer is completed successfully, the images are removed from the image cache.
