4.1 AE Specifications for IBox-DiS
IBox-DiS provides Standard Conformance to the following DICOM V3.0 Service Object
Pair (SOP) Classes as a Storage Service Class User (SCU).

4.1.1 Association establishment policies
4.1.1.1 General
The IBox-DiS application will initiate an association as an SCU of Storage Services when
images are available in the image cache of the IBox (i.e. when images were previously
stored in the IBox). The maximum PDU size is 16,384 bytes.
4.1.1.2 Number of associations
The IBox-DiS AE opens only one store association at a time.
4.1.1.3 Asynchronous nature
The IBox-DiS AE does not support asynchronous communication (multiple outstanding
transactions over a single association).
4.1.1.4 Implementation identifying information
This implementation will be identified by:
